Schmetz Stretch & Jersey Needle Bundle

The Schmetz Stretch & Jersey Needle Bundle is perfect for the quilting and sewing enthusiast who would like to sample different types and sizes of needles. These needles work with most home sewing machine brands that use a 15x1 needle system or machines where needles with a flat shank are required. Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. All of these needles come in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case. The bundle includes a five-pack of 75/11 stretch needles, an assorted (70/10, 80/11, 90/14) pack of jersey needles, a Schmetz Luggage Tag, and a Schmetz ABC Pocket Guide.

Jersey Needles:
Schmetz 130/705 H SUK Jersey/Ballpoint Needles are made specifically for sewing on knits. The medium ballpoint makes it excellent for knit fabrics and even some stretch fabric. These needles have a unique point that does not damage or break knitted fabrics. Jersey needles will have an orange band along the shank.

Stretch Needles:
Stretch Needles have a medium ballpoint and a specially designed eye and scarf to help reduce skipped stitches. These features make this needle perfect for knits and elastic or stretch fabrics. You can identify Stretch Needles by the yellow band along the shank.
