Universal Needles
Schmetz 130/705H Universal Needles have a slightly rounded point making them a great general-purpose needle for sewing a variety of woven and knit fabrics. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required. Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. Most Schmetz universal needles will not have an upper color code. The color bands on these needles will differ per size. Schmetz 130/705H Universal Needles is a pack of ten needles in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case. Sizes include four 70/10, four 80/12, and two 90/14 needles.

Denim Needles
Schmetz 130/705H-J Jeans/Denim Needles have a modified, medium ballpoint tip and a reinforced blade that makes this needle excellent for penetrating denim, extra thick woven fabrics, or quilts with minimum deflection. This superior point design is Schmetz exclusive and reduces the risk of damaged fabric and skipped stitches. The heavier jeans threads work best with the larger needle. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required. This five pack of needles will feature a blue band to indicate they are to be used on denim. They come in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case. Sizes include two 90/14, two 100/16, and one 110/18 needles.
