Schmetz Ball Point, Chrome Finish Needles

Schmetz Chrome Finish ELX-SUKCF Ballpoint Serger Needles is an ELX705 needle with a medium ballpoint and chrome finish. This needle is designed for electronic multi-purpose sergers that produce the overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. This needle has a long groove on both the front and back, a slightly larger scarf, and a medium ballpoint. The chrome finish (CF) reduces heat and wear and aids in gliding through the fabric. Consult your manual for the proper needle selection for your brand and model number. .

Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. Most Schmetz overlock/serger needles will have a black color code on the top band. The bottom color bands on these needles will differ per size. Schmetz Chrome Finish ELX-SUKCF Ballpoint Serger Needles are available as a pack of five needles in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case.
