For extra texture and definition, use the Pintuck Blade to elevate your pintucks. It attaches directly to your machine’s needle plate and gently lifts the fabric as you sew, creating higher, more pronounced tucks. This simple addition brings beautiful dimension to garments, heirloom projects, and decorative stitching.

How to Use:

1. Attach the Pintuck Foot Choose the Five-Groove Pintuck Foot for heavier materials and snap it onto your machine.
2. Insert the Pintuck Blade Snap the round knob of the Pintuck Blade into the round hole on your machine’s stitch plate, with the blade pointing toward the needle area.
3. Use a Twin Needle Install a 1.6 mm to 2.0 mm twin needle, ideal for creating pintucks with definition on thicker fabrics.
4. Mark Your Lines Draw or mark lines on your fabric where you want the pintucks. Position each line under the center of the foot for accurate alignment.
5. Start Stitching Sew at a slightly slower speed than normal. Gently pull the fabric taut as you guide it under the foot.

As you sew, the Pintuck Blade raises the fabric from underneath, creating crisp, elevated tucks with beautiful dimension.
